Creating DVD’s
I’ve finally started backing up my camcorder tapes to DVD. I know, it’s taken me a while to enter the digital age. LOL
(Actually, I find it amusing that I’m so at-home with the Internet and all things Web-based, but can’t stand my mobile phone and have never sent a “text” in my life. Why is that?)
So, people are creating DVD products and selling them as high-ticket info-products… so I thought that by learning how to back up my camcorder tapes and creating DVD’s I’d get a feel for the process. Well, adding titles and whizzy graphics was quite good fun, I admit…. but what’s with the time it takes to burn a DVD? I mean, wow!
All I want to do is create a DVD with about an hour of movie on it… it shouldn’t put my PC under much strain, right? Wrong. Even though it’s the newest PC I own, it’s been sitting there “encoding” for probably half an hour and it’s at 13%!
This is going to take forever!
(mental note: let an outsourcing company burn any DVD’s in any future products!)
(actually, I don’t do physical products… digital ones are so much easier… but I also never say never!)
