St. George’s Day
I’m happy to live in cyberspace. I actually enjoy the freedom of the Internet… charging in dollars, selling worldwide, making friends from all over the globe.
But once in a while it’s fun to mention something specific to “home”. And here’s an example… today is St George’s Day… the patron saint of England who died on this day in 303 apparently. What’s interesting is that I had no idea today was St George’s Day until I read about it on another blog. Unlike St Patrick’s Day, most English people probably couldn’t tell you when St George’s Day is… and if you said it was today, the most likely response would be a polite, “really!?”

Hi everyone,
St George’s Day means a lot to me. I studied in St George’s Anglo Indian High School, Chennai and had a great faculty and excellent school mates. I have lost contacts with many of them and hope this message will atleast get me united to some of them. I would love to relive the Golden moments once again.
Hoping to hear from the St Georgians.

Hi guys ,
This is Rajesh i m a 2003 passout from the most beautiful place on earth that i have seen in my life. I spent 14yrs of my life there words in languages i know cannot describe the beauty of the place and the fun i had. I later studied Visual communication. But my creative sense started from my school and the trees it had there even the red stones and old veranda had a story to say to me and inspire me. Nothing can survive time but St.Georges has i wish my generation to be there.
Bye guys

Hi Georgians,
Happy to hear from my schoolmates… really a wonderful place in Chennai, our school which remained un-explored for long period of time…. but time has changed our school more nowadays…. you can see our school buildings and hostel varandas and dinning rooms in almost all serials…. and in many movies too…. We can’t say whether its good or bad but overall the management must look that the wonderful atmosphere when I studied (1987-2001, LKG to +2) was not spoiled… because our institution is one of the very few school with this kind of beautiful atmosphere in Chennai. Instead of leasing and renting for shootings and other things, the management can try to raise the standard of education one step ahead….

Hi Everyone
I just came across this site and wonder if any of you know how to contact past students of St Georges’ School, Chennai. I am a Malaysian, but I had studied at St.George’s High School from 1975 to 1982 (5th Std to Plus Two). I miss the campus and its surroundings. It’s beautiful far flung space and the old buildings. Hope to visit it this year. I hope I will be able to contact somebody. Is there any old school students alumini or some association. Hope to hear from someone. take care and god bless all Gregorians.
