A lot of “gurus” will show you Alexa graphs of their traffic… especially if they’ve shot into the top 500 most visited sites online like Michael Cheney did recently.
But not many marketer’s will show you a “twin peaks” chart… but I think it’s quite novel to see a graph representing what can happen when you get a sudden traffic surge because of a list promotion followed by a rebound when the site goes back to less traffic. I’ve done two mailouts promoting this blog, and here are the “twin peaks”…
