Do you know S-E-O?
This is something I think people struggle with… getting traffic to their sites. At the moment there seems to be no end of people offering you ways to get sites online quicker… they’ll give you templates, site-building software, keyword-research, graphics, ebooks, articles etc etc… everything you need to get sites online in a flash… But what happens then?
I’ll tell you… your site will be ignored unless you know how to get traffic to it.
Do you know how to get traffic to your sites? I mean, really know? Or do you think you know.
If you need a refresher course, or even a great beginners guide, I highly recommend Peter Hale’s Total Web SEO. You get all these quality movies…

“I built my first web application for a large international company back in 1996, well before even Google was launched! Since then I have honed my internet skills and now run 15 websites generating over $327,000 in profit each year.”

Bought it, viewed all its videos… and I’m disappointed…
Even though it cost twenty something dollars… I feel I was ripped off a little.
This guy points out for what I believe are obvious things.
To sum up his videos, the basic message was.
-Choose keywords that are not that competitive.
-Have a good title, description, and use H1 and H2 tags with your pages.
-Have more content then code per page.
-original content
-make lots of pages
And that’s it! I know this already. This is all to gain 500 new clicks a day, which I’m assuming if he did with his own sites, 118diet.co.uk, he would have decent traffic.. Well lets alexa this.. http://www.alexa.com/data/details/traffic_details?q=&url=www.118diet.co.uk
Hmm odd.. nothing.
Either way, Neil I know your great and I’m a avid reader of your blog.. and you usually promote great products.. this is not one of them.

OK, well, let me address several points…
1: I can’t address you by name because you didn’t leave it. And it’s not at your blog. And your domain name is registered by proxy. Interesting.
2: I removed the link to your blog because of the coarse and (to me) offensive language I found there.
3: If a site doesn’t have a high Alexa ranking it doesn’t mean it doesn’t get enough traffic to make money. My Incomemax.com site doesn’t have a high Alexa ranking…
http://www.alexa.com/data/details/traffic_details?&compare_sites=&y=t&q=&url=http://www.incomemax.com
… but it still makes very healthy Adsense money. No, I’m not going to tell you precisely how much.
Hmmm, 1,472 links into his site and 203 pages listed from his site… perhaps it does get some traffic! http://search.msn.com/results.aspx?q=link%3A118diet.co.uk+&Form=MSNH
4: I’m sure Peter will refund your money, no questions asked. Let me know if you have any trouble whatsoever getting refunded.
5: I appreciate your comments and your kind words about the blog. I’m sorry you were disappointed in my recommendation. Judging from my words of “refresher course” and “beginners guide” I would’ve thought it was clear that this was not an advanced SEO concepts product.

Hi Peter Hale here,
If you want a refund just let me know - I haven’t received any requests so far.
The thing with SEO is a lot of folks say they know it but don’t put it into practice. Some people know the title is important but don’t know how to write a good title tag or description, or simply don’t get around to changing it. The list goes on.
The overall strategy for me is to develop 250 really targeted pages in my niche for lower searched terms that all rank #1 in the search engines.
These are going to be easier for me to get to #1 in the first place and keep them there. These will then generate me as much, if not more traffic, than 5 pages I try and get up for the big volume terms.
How I do this is in the videos. I also show all the facts and discount the myths. It’s all well and good reading the forums each day — but whose word do you trust ?

Fine, you don’t like my blog, I don’t like Peter’s video’s we’re even. :p I speak my mind when it comes to my blog. My business website is a little cleaner, www.themmorpgexchange.com, if you care to view it.
Anyways, Sorry I didn’t read your whole post about it being for beginners, I’m an impulse buyer, which is why you should like me in the long run. Its no bigy anyways, twenty dollars in today’s economy is a bloody haircut.
Oh and I rather not have random people know where I live and my phone number.. its bad here in the states.. I used to have a lot of junk mail trying to switch my domain’s over to their company… and of course for other reasons.

Hi Donny,
I like MMORPG’s, and played DAOC for two years. I expect that’s a lucrative niche.
BTW, my contact info you quoted is also on the http://www.scamfreezone.com homepage.
Neil.
