BTW, for the past few years I’ve frequently visited another blog on a totally non-Internet marketing subject. That blog was getting 1000-2000 “hits” per day. Last week it commented on the war in southern Lebanon with an interesting “theory” which was picked up on by various US TV shows and other blogs. The result? 100,000 hits per day for several days in a row. From a traffic point of view, that’s interesting… a hundred-fold increase in traffic from making some ”newsworthy” posts. Â
