I think that, for whatever reason, the writer misunderstood the purpose of your web site. I think I have an idea about the Christmas tree stands, though. Every year, stores sell tons of those stands, right? That’s because every year people find that their old stands are worn out, a little shabby/rusty or misplaced. Well, you can pick up a ordinary red and green stand almost anywhere Now think of the possibilities for one who is good with arts/crafts—custom design stands. It could be something as simple as painting the stand in, say, traditional Victorian Era colors (maroon, dark green and gold), or a simple ring of holly painted around the top of the stand, or it could be much more elaborate. People like items that are unique, yet fit in with their decor and their tastes.
The writer might have put this (or a similar) idea together with the idea that you help people get started in businesses of their own. It would be good to explain this to the writer, and to simply (and politely) ask what it was that caused him/her to think that you would be able to meet that request. That answer could be useful.
