Official World Exclusive Peek At The Build An Empire Pack

build an empire pack< -- click to enlarge.

This is a world exclusive. Paul Smithson sent me the Build An Empire welcome pack which the lucky franchise owners will receive in addition to being able to access the site-building part of the “Build An Empire” system.

As soon as I got it, I took a picture and asked Paul if I could mention it at the blog. He said that the “official” picture would be released tomorrow, but I could share this graphic on the blog as an authorized “sneak” preview. :-)

OK, so what’s in the package? Well, as I expected, Paul over-delivers. In fact, he over-delivers to such an extent, I’ve said he ”hyper-delivers“.

There really is no need to send out such a quality package. After all, the franchise owner will mainly be buying access to the admin area on Paul’s server where they can build their own, unique, niche websites and monetize them using Adsense and sales of the audio download products. On top of that, they can sign up affiliates and build sites for them while sharing the revenue. Almost all of that is handled server-side.

So why send out a big box? I think it’s the impact the “welcome pack” will have on new franchise holders. It says, “we care about your success and will make everything as easy as possible”. The quality shines through. When people see the quality in the welcome pack, they’ll know they made a wise decision… and that’s good for keeping people on-board and satisfied.

So what’s in the box? Well, there are two step-by-step “partner tutorial workbooks” which walk you through the process of promoting and affiliating your websites… and they are very thorough, with boxes to fill in your answers and checklists to be ticked off… lots of hand-holding. :-)

There’s also a “partner manual” which explains how to access the admin area on Paul’s server and build sites… all the “tecchie” stuff is explained in simple terms and with lots of helpful screenshots. As a nice bonus, there’s an “encyclopedia of internet marketing” which is a very handy 255-page introduction to marketing online… everything from banners and viral marketing to page rank and joint ventures is explained clearly and simply… very handy!

Oh, and don’t forget the cd’s… they’re full of videos explaining the system to you if you prefer video to workbooks, exclusive interviews with people in the “audio” marketplace plus a CD full of articles, software and ebooks to help you learn more in almost any topic of Internet marketing and another CD of graphics for your sites!

This is a great package… and will be delivered to your door when you join the Build An Empire system.

Click this link and join the notification list to get the PDF’s which give you an overview of the Build an Empire system…. and get ready for the launch on Thursday, 16th November.

    What is the price ?

This is what Paul said about the price…

“Over the past few days we’ve been getting lots of
e-mails asking how much the start-up fee will be and
so I thought it would be worth me shedding a little
light on that in this message.

The reason I’ve not disclosed the start-up fee so far
isn’t part of the launch strategy it’s simply because
I felt it was important that you had the full picture.

I want to make sure that you knew about all the many
powerful features of the system before telling you how
    much it’s going to cost.

I know it’s kind of ‘reverse logic’, but I’m trying to
get across the huge value of this proposition before
going into the numbers. But rest assured! You’ll not
have to wait long to find out…

What I can say at this time is that it represents
extremely good value for money, given the returns that
those putting the effort into this system will make.

In the telephone conversations I’ve been having with
some of the top Internet Marketers, it has been said
on several occasions that the price is “way too low”
considering what you get for your money. I know you’d
expect me to say that, but in this case it really is
    true.

Please bear with me while I try and get everything out
‘on the table’ over the coming days - I hope that
you’ll appreciate the fact that I’m trying to give you
as much information as possible with which to make
    your final decision.”

It’s an impressive photograph, but my first thought when looking at it, is that this kind of quality just allows the developer to charge more. It seems like a lot of launches with quality like this run in the $1,995 to 4k range.

I personally would rather receive the material in some kind of a downloadable format so therefore the initial cost of entry would be lower. But I understand that the “in” thing these days is to create physical stuff that can be shipped. This increases the perceived value of the product thus allowing the developer to charge more as I mentioned earlier. Bummer.

    Hi Steve,

I would agree with your comments in general. But in this specific case, I think the workbooks and videos on CD are there to help people get started with the Build An Empire system as quickly and easily as possible. As I said in the post, it will also help confirm to people that they’re dealing with a quality product/system/company.

The full picture, but not price? Anybody else hear the irony here?

What’s important is that sellers not start off their pitch by playing games with their credibility.

My experience with Paul’s products is that he’s very good at the tutorial side of things. While the table full of CDs and books may look a little OTT, it reflects the thought and meticulous planning that’s gone into this launch, and, I guess, the product.

As the site I’m involved in is a writing community at the cutting edge of publishing, I’m very interested to see the outcome of this online podcasting bookstore. It could change the face of publishing overnight.

iHi,.I agree completely with steve In a week when one marketer has declared that im is dead because its getting over saturated and people are becoming skeptical with gurus i find myself thinking oh no not another launch! Most of us buy a product for the information it hopefully provides only. i personally find i learn best from videos. Now whenever i see the words “quality ” and over deliver i expect to find the identical info presented several time over in the form of video, manuals tapes etc Neither do i need workbooks and check sheets .Ican use a sheet of writing paper for this.Add to this the cost of postage(not to be taken lightly f you live in the UK)plus tapes that i will never listen to.And allll this “quality ” is to me a complete waste of money-The marketer is providing his info in what is perceived as a more valuable form which we of course all pay for.The marketer was asked a straight question about price-ignored it like a polititician, and used the opportunity to continue his sales pitch .We have come to expect that this is a prelude to convincing us that what ever fantasy price he decides to charge is the bargain of the century. we have all seen the multi hundred dollar per month price tags.If im really is dieing this is the sort of thing that will kill it Afew greedy get rich quick gurus killing it for alll l of us.
Why not make the physical product available as an upsell for those who want it and let the rest of us download the product? This would ASave us the unsescessary exspense of having a physical product b)save us postage costs c)save us the time and frustration of waiting for a product to arrive and the problems involved in takeing time of work waiting for a product that doesent. arrive when the seller says it will-in the case of one high profile product buyers were left to seethe mor a month.Sorry about this but i really am sick and tired of all this,,and if this was done maybe the tarnishea reputation of internet marketing and its self proclaimed gurus might berepaired but i imagine someone else is going to go on laughing all the way to the bank until enough people say sorry i am not playing any more

I think the concept is great but agree that the launch strategy is a bit of a turn-off. I’m frankly worried that the emphasis is on selling ‘franchises’ rather than on selling audiobooks.

Since it is still prelaunch perhaps there is time for Paul to offer some spots to people less interested in “stuff” and more interested in building sites and selling audiobooks.

Amazon doesn’t pay out huge royalties on books but doesn’t charge a big up front fee for the privilege of selling their stuff. Fess up and let us know what it costs to get in.

A big box of stuff is not wanted by the people who are most likely to actually build a lot of sites and sell audiobooks and only inflates the cost of joining.

People who are interested in building big content rich sites are not the same people who are interested in recruiting sub affiliates and this offer seems aimed at the second group - a (dare I say it) MLM type psychology.

The first group will sell more audiobooks in the long run. The second group will more likely lead to FTC problems as there is always a rotten apple who will misrepresent the business opportunity.

I’ve been told th eprice is a one off $1000 and then a running cost of say $1.67 per day

  13. Neil_Shearing Says:

I can neither confirm nor deny. It’s Paul’s decision what to price the product at, and when to let people know.

    Neil.

  14. Marlamar Says:

I share everyone´s excitement of the way we work on the Internet. Offline someone has a business proposal and they want serious people they tell you upfront what the cost will be. This gives persons a clear idea of how to budget.

For too long we have been driving people online based on their ´gut response´. Hence the high failure rates, then we tell people they didn´t want it badly enough even when they are already sinking in debt.

From my limited (emphasis here) experience, I have found that the things I´ve done well with are the ones I did not jump onto but the ones I had a clear idea of what I was getting into and how much its going to cost. I could work my budget around what it will cost for initial capital and maintenance.

I dug around a bit since Neil didn´t see it fit to tell us. I don´t want to be one of your affiliates that fail because I didn´t know what I was getting into. And for all of you who are interested, this is a BIG DEAL and not something to jump into lightly.

I know Neil will neither confirm nor deny, but the my investigations say its going to be $1000. one time up front and then $50. per month upkeep. Plus what you will need for your Advertising Budget.

I´d say if you have the money - JUMP not walk….even shut down a few others and get into full steam ahead with focus. Otherwise, bow out gracefully now and wait until something else comes along.

    Peace,
    Marlamar

    Marlamar is correct.
$1000 minimum and at least 50 each month is the current offer.
Neil knows this, but I understand if he did tell us this as a fact, he would lose alot of interest.
How many programs like this have we been offered in the last 60 days?
How is most people going to even re-cup their investment?
Imagine if we bought all the product launches in the last 60 days from all the “great marketers” making a fortune off the poor newbies. And of course every program that has been offered, is naturally “way under value”.

This is looking like the late real estate seminar business where every “guru” was making more selling seminars than buying real estate.

After investigating all these “fantastic” launches, I have noticed they sell the programs when they have exhausted their profits from these techniques. When we buy them, they have moved on to another great profit maker and we never receive info on the all the newest software and technques they are really using currently.

I appreciate everyone trying to get rich quickly, but we have to start realizing the real game being played here and start protecting our wallets.

“Neil knows this, but I understand if he did tell us this as a fact, he would lose alot of interest.”

It’s not my call to let people know the price before launch. If Paul wants to change it at the 11th hour, that’s up to him. I’m certainly not going to tell you the price is $x and then say, “whoops, Paul changed it to $y.” That’s a sure-fire way for me to get in hot water. :-)

    Neil.

  18. Roy Says:

Does this Pre - Launch tactic really work ?

Like most people I get more junk email than email I want to read ….and emails directing me to the pre-launch website have been coming in thick and fast from numerours people.

Some people send so many pre-launch invitations on behalf of others that I have now added them to my junk filter .. so I no longer get info about their own products ….which I actually wanted !!

Affiliate marketing is fine .. but affiliate marketing of a pre-launch of affiliate marketing …. is this a new virus ??

Perhaps there is a case to charge a fee for sending emails.

I am going to keep my credit card securely in my wallet, thank you and concentrate on reaping benefits from my last major purchase (Joel Comm’s Adsense templates). It’s pointless to keep buying new products before maximizing the potential of the “old” ones we bought.
Besides, this looks like an expensive one.
Good luck to whomever decides to try it.

  20. Neil_Shearing Says:

… and the reason you couldn’t use the content from Build An Empire and the templates you have from Joel to make a great combination for multiple unique niche websites would be…. ? :-)

If I used the program to build a heap of stand alone sites to promote the audio products and run adsense. But from what I have seen in Pauls video, all the pages created use a product name as the file/ page name ?

If this is the case, how is it possible to getting any SE ranking for any of these sites or pages in their own right ? As users cart input low hanging keywords to build the sites or pages around ? All I can see, is that you can only use the pages as filler on sites and nothing more ?
