I just love the way debate goes these days, "I don't agree with your position, therefore you're a liar." I read the post and I think the writer needed a good kick in the pants. I probably would have just hit the delete button and fumed. I'm kindof glad that Michael didn't. I read the post and I think the writer needed a good kick in the pants. I probably would have just hit the delete button and fumed. I’m kindof glad that Michael didn’t.

I'm just not sure what purpose is served by responding to a critic in a critical manner. It kind of reminds me of the childhood game called "The Dozens": -Child #1 throws out an insult. -Child #2 responds with "Oh yeah, well your mama's so * that *****! I’m just not sure what purpose is served by responding to a critic in a critical manner. It kind of reminds me of the childhood game called “The Dozens”:

-Child #2 responds with “Oh yeah, well your mama’s so * that *****!
(repeat indefinitely)

I can’t say I blame Michael; if it weren’t for the delete button and God’s gracious intervention there would probably be hundreds of flaming email responses in cyberspace with my name on it! :-)
