Hi Pamela,

You're probably right... but none of those spams made it through to my "real" inbox. ;-)

Sheesh, Neil, I was P'd off when I had 80 in mine this afternoon. It sounds like you have email addresses forwarding through Gmail that could do with having bankruptcy declared on them and being deleted / closed.

Hi Richard,

The Gmail account acts as my primary spam filter. I don't usually log in to Gmail... and when I do, it's only to make sure I haven't gone over the storage limit. All my email goes to the Gmail account first, and a big percentage of it is filtered out at spam.

I then download my Gmail emails to my Outlook account, which uses Cloudmark's desktop plugin to further weed out spams. I'm then left with genuine email in my inbox... apart from the spam that Gmail and Cloudmark sometimes miss... like blank emails or the PDF spams. But, on the whole, I'm happy with this "double" anti-spam solution.

Hi Neal - amazing! Raises the question in my mind as to why you keep the Gmail account. Another question - what percentage of your total daily Gmail is spam? ... and the biggest question(s) - how do you recognize, sort and trash the spam? That could be helpful advice to a lot of your readers, and it would certainly help me.
