PRCashRank: A Free Website Valuation Tool.
I’ve just finished polishing my new site… PRCashRank. Check it out.
If you’ve ever wanted to know how much your website was worth, but knew that a domain name valuation was pretty much pointless, you should enjoy the free website valuation service at PRCashRank.
Instead of relying on spurious domain name valuations, or the number of pages indexed by Google, it actually calculates the value of your site based on the PageRank of your individual pages.
I think it’s quite nifty. What do you think?

Hi Ken,
Hehe. One PR2 page isn’t worth a whole lot, but one PR10 page… that’s something to aspire to.

For PR3 on 10 pages I get $ 3000000000. In my dreams

Useful tool, really.
I’m sure all marketers can’t wait to have one.
Congratulations!

“PR3 on 10 pages” is worth $1,000.
If you had three PR10 pages, that’s worth $ 3000000000.

Hi Neil,
I think this will be very hard to understand for a noob. I’m not a noob myself, and I was stuck when I landed on the page.
AND I know seo very well.
Also, what’s the purpose of your tool? Is it for people who flip sites? I think you should quickly explain this.
Just want to help you,
All the best,
Franck The Body Guard.

Hi Franck,
“I think this will be very hard to understand for a noob.”
Huh?
You put in the number of webpages you have with each PageRank number. You click the button.
I think it’s simple… why were you stuck?
The tool is for anyone wanting a quick, easy “guesstimate” of their site’s value.

Hello, responsded to you newsletter and came here now.
But I am a bit confused Neil. I added my site and here is what I got: “Congratulations!
Your site has a PRCashRank Valuation of
$ 0″
Can you explain a bit? I am sure I am doing something very very wrong.
January 15th, 2008 at 10:20 am
What numbers did you put in? Does your site have any PageRank?
January 15th, 2008 at 10:23 am
$100K for a single PR6 page. Interesting.
My friend has a programming-related blog with a PR6 homepage.
I’m pretty sure he’d gladly sell it for $100K!
Great idea Neil, though maybe the multiples need a touch of tweaking?
January 15th, 2008 at 10:30 am
Well, to be honest, a PR6 site is pretty big news since the last few slaps seemed to degrade the lower pagerank sites… which had a knock-on effect for the whole PageRank system.
OK, $100k may be a tad high… but a PR6 site is actually worth a lot.

I’ve added instructions to the homepage. Sometimes I think the inventor can just “see” what input their toy needs, and not explain what to do.

Now! I think it’s nuch better this way. Your reader need to understand right away without guessing (you know this better than me…).
I am coaching many of my friends offline, and if they come to your page, now, they will understand what this is all about.
All the best with your project Neil.

thanks for your feedback, Franck.

Hi Neil, As you say, lots of fun!
Here’s another idea… How about inventing a tool that tells us how many PageRank 5s, 4s, 3s etc a site has? I must have thousands of PageRank 3 pages - far too many to add up!
January 16th, 2008 at 9:13 am
Hi Allan,
Thanks for stopping by.
That’s a great idea for a new tool. It would take a *lot* of processing power to spider each webpage of a site and then determine the PageRank for each page. The tool would be more like a sitemap generator or a link checker… and would probably take as long to run… so it wouldn’t be in the same vein as PRCashRank, which is very quick and simple.
It’s a good idea though… I’d love to know which forgotten pages I have that are PR3.
Neil.

Okay now understand - so I have ato know the page rank status before using the tool. Now I am off to try it again.
January 23rd, 2008 at 11:29 am
Yes, it’s a little bit different to “plug in your URL and we’ll show you your PageRank tools”.
June 11th, 2008 at 6:25 pm
I love this tool, well really I love all new tools I find. Will probably play with this for my sites all day
June 12th, 2008 at 5:21 pm
Thanks for your little tool here. I just cant get enough of this kind of stuff.
June 12th, 2008 at 6:19 pm
This tool is sweet, I’ve been running through my sites with it for most of the morning now. Keep it up.
June 14th, 2008 at 4:43 am
Thank you very much. I love any type of free seo tool to play around with.
June 19th, 2008 at 7:27 am
Thanks for your work on this tool. It really rocks, like to see people throw stuff like this out there.
July 1st, 2008 at 6:26 am
It’s quite a fun tool! But if only value of websites would follow more closely to the results from this tool, it would be so much easier to be a website creator and designer, and get paid very well too.
July 11th, 2008 at 5:35 pm
Thanks for the tool but I cannot see how this truly reflects the actual value of a site. Surely the value of a site is based on it’s gross and not how many pages of high pr it has??
July 15th, 2008 at 5:38 pm
Its a bit of a general valuation really but pretty accurate in with my 2 websites.
August 7th, 2008 at 7:09 pm
If there’s only factor you’re considering in the value of a website it should be earnings/profit.
