New Version Of Real Link Finder Is Ready!

Just when you thought it couldn’t get any better! ;-)

With 7,000+ downloads in just over two weeks since launch we got a lot of feedback including almost 300 blog comments at the blog post where I announced the giveaway! We’ve listened closely to that feedback and improved the Real Link Finder and guess what…?

… even the new, improved version is FREE! :-)

Here’s a sneak peek of what’s waiting for you in the improved version…

The ability to keep searching and get more results for your keywords using the “next” button.
The ability to turn off the “nofollow” searching and find blogs that use nofollow.
The keyword(s) you searched for are now highlighted in the preview pane.
The unlock key is now saved to the registry, not to a file, which should help people who had problems installing the previous version.

To get the new version, just visit the download page for Real Link Finder and download the file as you did before.

To install the new version, just uninstall the old version using the “Add/Remove Programs” in your “Control Panel”, then install the new version by extracting it from the zip file, double clicking on “RLF_Setup.exe” and follow the installation process as you did before.

Note, the software will ask for your unlock key, so please make sure you have it ready, or get it emailed to you using our reminder page.

Please leave your comments about the software, or any feedback you’d like to share, below…

    Cool stuff Neil.

The original version has been very useful already, allowing me to grab some really nice highish-PR links by just writing relevant comments on interesting blogs (and they call this working?!), so I’ll look forward to trying out the new improved version shortly :)

    Thanks again, Alex

  2. Graham Williams Says:

I was just using the old version when I received the email about the new version! I would just like to say thanks Neil for a great piece of software.

  3. Free Forex Ebooks Says:

    Hi,

It isn’t working for me. I gave Forex Trading and it gave me 1 blog. When I checked it was a Nokia Mobile Phone Blog. I gave Acne Cure as keyword, none came. I gave many others and everytime the result was zero. Honestly, comment Kahuna works much better. I am not trying to insult your creation, but just providing constructive criticism. Maybe you can tell me where I am going wrong.

  4. CJ of GCCD Says:

    Hi Neil,

Wow, you do work quickly! Super effort and a big improvement to the original version.

I would be interested in rebranding if you don’t mind.

While we are on the subject of linking, have you considered Jonathan Legere’s 3waylinks. With the number of marketers around the world using your software you could probably come up with a software every bit as good if not better. Worth considering?

    Good work,

    CJ

  5. Cartoon Pictures Designs Says:

Wow! New update already? You sure work fast man!!! KUDOS!

  6. ArahMan7 Says:

Wow, lucky I still kept the login key. Uninstalled and installed the new version went smoothly.

Only one thing bothered me. I wrote to you via admin[at]reallinkfinder.com, but till now I have yet to receive a brand copy of my own.

Greetings and lots of love from Malaysia.

  7. Neil_Shearing Says:

@ Alex, Good to hear from you. :-)

    @ Graham, You’re welcome.

@ Free Forex, Try decreasing the number of comments, increasing the blogs to search for to 100, or making the keywords more generic (”mobile phone” instead of “nokia mobile phone blog”)

@ CJ, Thanks. :-) Please email your rebranding info to admin AT reallinkfinder.com. I need…

I haven’t really looked into 3-way links because I don’t really like the idea of being part of other people’s network.

    @ Cartoon, Thanks. :-)

@ ArahMan, I’m glad the upgrade went smoothly. :-) I didn’t get your email about rebranding. Either Google saw it as spam or my personal filters did. Could you please resend it? I’ve done over 100 rebranded versions so far… sorry I missed yours.

    Neil.

  8. John Says:

    Thanks Neil,

I haven’t had much chance to use the software but it looked greaat when I tried it, now it will be even better.

  9. Robert Says:

    Fantastic Neil !

The best idea since ’sliced bread’ .
    I use quite a few Web2.0 sites and blogs;
I know this will definitely be a ‘BIG’ help.

    Hey Neil,
Just got an email about your software and it sounds amazing. I just downloaded it and can’t wait to put it to use. Thanks for the gift!
    Bernie

  11. Keith Says:

    Neil,

I’ve used the first version a time or two within the past week. An excellent piece of software. I just downloaded the improved version and look forward to giving it a try.

Just a thought, have you considered doing something like this with Forums?

  12. Reality Check Says:

An AWESOME piece of software…and free! THANKS so much!

  13. Claire Poulton Says:

    Hi Neil,

I have a re-branded version of the older version.

Do I have to get a NEW re-branding link? or will the one you already created for me work for them to download the new version.

Thanks for the great program. BTW - Blog Rush turned down all my Blogs because I didn’t have enough posts. I have created enough posts to put on my blogs for a year, but I don’t want to add them all at once. :-)

    What a bummer!

    All the Best,
    Claire Poulton

  14. Scott Trimble Says:

Hey Neil and/or Linda, this is Scott Trimble from over at halfagain.com (we sell a number of SEO and marketing applications). Sorry I had to send this through a blog comment, but I couldn’t find your email. The reason I’m contacting you is we have a new product poised for launch that I think could be a spectacular fit for your audience and I’d like to chat with you about a partnership on the promotion. This probably isn’t the best venue to tell you about the product itself, so if you’re interested, shoot me over an email and I’ll give you the full details. Thanks a lot and looking forward to hearing from you.

  15. Get Paid for Every Visitor to your site! Says:

    Thanks for the software!
I just love new toys. Especially if they make me more money!
I have had great success getting links and traffic with commenting.
The no follow turnoff is a great addition.

    Thanks Again,

  16. Stephen Salamone Says:

I did try the first one and liked it but sense I deleted it and now have deleted the new one too, that was cruel! My key did not work !!
I hope you can fix this ( with out the key) send a special URL to down load with no strings hatched .

  17. Bob Perry Says:

    Hi Neil,

You do work quickly, I give ya that… but I’ve got a major problem with the new version, when I try to execute the setup program I get the dreaded “yada-yada pathway/filename… is not a valid Win32 application.” error… HELP!!

I’m the guy running Windows 2000 Pro platform.

    Best Regards,
    Bob

  18. BrainWaver Says:

Whooot - you guys are fast!

great job. I was impressed with the first version already, now you have added most of the features I would want to have in this kind of app.

May the force continue to be with you ;-)

  19. Neil_Shearing Says:

    Hi Guys,

Thanks for your kind words. :-)

@ Claire, The rebranding link will still work.

    @ Scott, Email sent.

    @ Stephen, Email sent.

@ Bob, We don’t know what causes that error. It may be a 64-bit OS problem, but as a marketer, I’m not really sure. It seems like writing the unlock key to the registry didn’t solve the problem. Sorry.

    Neil.

  20. Maureen Page Says:

    Hi Neil
I have just installed your Software. I am very new to ‘linking’
in fact I am new to blogging. So new in fact I don’t think many
people have seen my blog yet.

However I just wanted to say thank you for the very useful
‘Help’ Videos How to Install and How to Use Real Link Finder.
I found them so so easy to follow and very easy and simple
    to understand.

I had the Software Installed and in use within Minutes.

Thank you again for a very ingenious and easy to use
    product.

    Maureen

  21. Gayle Says:

Just used the software yesterday. Nice program, look forward to the new version when I get a chance to download it. I think this will be a great tool for building our new business. I’m new to all this web site stuff, so I hope it works out. Hope to see a few of you at our B&B soon.

  22. Paul Says:

Thanks Neil. It is nice to get something for free for a change. The only problem I have had is when I enter a keyword and do the search it seems to find blogs of no relevance what so ever. Anybody else having this problem? Maybe someone has a suggestion that will help out.

  23. Lane Says:

I just tried to install the new version and got the message that it isn’t a valid Win32 application. I’m trying to install it in Windows 2000 where I’m running the old RLF.

  24. Don Says:

    Thanks for the great tool.

It really is easy to use and the price is RIGHT.

The installation was easy and within 5 minutes of starting it up I had posted 5 comments on related blogs.

    Thanks, Don

  25. chris Says:

    Hi Neil,
I am new to all this looks like witchcraft to me! I noticed in your video some of the names left on blogs had links… Do I have to do anything else other than leave a comment to get a link?

    Chris

  26. Andy Theekson Says:

    Hi,
It seems like I’m among a few other people here who are reporting the “Not a valid Win32 application” when trying to install. It seems that this new version will not install on a Win2000 OS platform.

As I don’t have the benefit of having the previous version that did seem to work for Win2000 folks, I guess I won’t be able to try this software.

Unless you can supply a link to the older version.

    Andy

  27. Soren - Tourist in Dubai Says:

Thanks, Neil for this updated version that is working very well for me.
As I am going to distribute your information in my next newsletter (StockPhotoNews) to around 2000 professionels I am interested in knowing the branding option - may be I have forgotten something or ?
Can you please help me with that if you ahve time?
I guess many will be interested in this option.
    Thanks again

  29. Honor Hart Says:

So great to be offered the chance to rebrand. I tired out the soft and it works great . I love that I can find the blog and leave a comment all in one full swoop..plus I found a blog that played a great music vid while I was posting my comment!

Thanks Neil (please send rebrandable version)
    Honor

  30. Lisa Young Says:

Perhaps I’m one of the unlucky ones. I’ve tried searching for very generic terms (like “jewelry” both with and without the quotes) and rarely return any search results.

    Any suggestions?

  31. Michelle Vandepas Says:

    Hi Neil,
This is a great idea, but I’m not having much luck with keywords either.

I know of at least 15 blogs I follow with keywords such as Divine Purpose, Life Purpose, What is my purpose in life…. etc.. and no of those blogs come up. Others so, such as a political blog, a mobile phone blog, ebay blog.. etc..?

    What am I doing wrong?

Also, I’d love the ability to search by author, date, etc…?
    Thanks

  32. Neil_Shearing Says:

@ Maureen, You’re welcome. I’m glad you liked the movies and the software. :-)

@ Gayle, I hope you like the new version.

@ Paul, How can the results be of “no relevance”? Are you saying Real Link Finder goes off and finds results that aren’t related to the keywords you typed in? Are the keywords not highlighted in the blog-preview pane, so you can see why the blog was returned as a result?

@ Lane, Sorry about that. It seems that there’s some kind of conflict we don’t understand when that error appears. If you want it, the old RLF is at: http://www.neilshearing.com/RealLinkFinderFinal.zip

@ Don, I’m happy it’s working for you. Thanks for your comment. :-)

@ Chris, Just leave your comment and your “author name” will be linked to your web-address.

@ Andy, see the reply to Lane for the old version. Sorry about the problem. We don’t know what the cause is.

@ Soren and Honor, I will send your info on rebranded versions shortly. I’m glad you like the software.

@ Lisa, Please use “100″ for the number of blog results, do separate searches for 5,4,3,2 and 1 comments, and when you find some results, use the “next” button to keep searching. I got 11 results searching for “jewelry”, 1 comment and nofollow turned on when I requested 100 results.

@ Michelle, This software isn’t like using Google. We use specific parameters to find blogs. The blog platform, the theme, the way the number of comments are displayed can all result in blogs being discarded.

    Neil.

  33. Brian Says:

Cool tool. I just posted to 5 sites in 15 minutes. Thanks.

  37. Claire K Says:

Nice work Neil, as you say, you have to work it a bit to find results sometimes, but it’s well worth it - thanks!

  38. Frank Says:

  40. Jayen Says:

Ok, i got your software a few days ago and tested it out last night. So far it seems to work very well! I’ve use a free version of another program (limited in the number of search results) that had the same overall function of yours, but so far from what i’ve seen yours is a lot better :-)
I have fond that both programs don’t always return post truly about the kw used, but well i suppose nothing is perfet :-) It definetly loos like a tool i’ll be using :-) thanks so much for giving this away \^^/

    This is a great tool.
I do have one question however.

Many times after I post, I don’t get a confirmation, indicating that my post is awaiting approval.
Nor do I instantly see my post.

Any idea what this is all about?

  48. Neil Says:

    Hi Neil,

This is a truely great product and all the more remarkable for being free. Thanks for all the development time you put into it.

One idea for future releases etc. Would it be possible to incorporate google PR and alexa rank in some way to the results? (rather like optilink does?) I for one would certainly being willing to pay for that type of upgrade.

    Ciao

    Neil

  49. Blogging for the Money Says:

In my first two days of using Real Link Finder I discovered 34 blogs with a focus similar to mine. In addition to reading entries that sparked my own ideas about what I’ll be writing in the next couple of weeks, I also commented on those blogs. The next day my traffic tripled with incoming visits from those comments.

    Thanks!

  50. andy Says:

    hi neil,

very nice piece of software and a great idea.

but for our keywords “property abroad” there where not enough matches, sad to say, but zero good ones.

that is interesting, since “Results 1 - 10 of about 161,253 for property abroad.” comes from google blog search?

will you add more blogs to your database in the near future and how can we add them to the database of your software?

  55. Tony Burt Says:

    Hi Neil

This looks like a really useful tool for responsible link building. I look after web marketing for 50+ clients and would like to get them using this. Could you rebrand it for me please? The name is “NetSecrets” and the url it links to is www.netsecrets.co.uk. I guess that’s all you need to know but get back to me if you need anything else.

I am on the priority list for the package however I have a disability which I will not get into and I have an appointment with a Pulmonary Specialist which I have been waiting to see for about 5 months. My problem is that at 8 AM est I will be in transit to the doctor and will not be home in time to get the information for the 278. Is there any way you could email me and I will prepay so I am not excluded. You have my email in the reply data for this blog.

    Thanks for your help,

  62. Alexis Kauffmann - Galeria de Arte Géssica Hellmann Says:

This is a power tool! Finally someone has decide to tackle this ridiculous unjustifiable “nofollow” fad when it comes to blogs. I simply can’t understand why people don’t just enable post pre-moderation to prevent spam instead of closing the door on everyone’s face. Great job!

  63. Dirk Says:

After installing, I made just two posts as a test and immediately got visitors. I now only have to “doll” up my website a bit and I will be off to a flying start. Thanks for a great time saver.

  64. Amazing Says:

    Hi
I’m only starter website building and this Real Link Starter was very useful. I had no idea it’s so easy to add your web-page address. I did it once, but it took me whole day to find sites to put my link on. With this program, it only takes 30 minutes.

    Thanks.

  67. Timmy Says:

Tk’s for sharing this nice tool. I wish to make a good use of it, still trying to find the right keywords to use for my search. Any hints?

  68. Me Says:

I found this tool interesting at first, then worthless when I read Neil’s cross promoted “10 Day Cash Secret”, for which incoming blog post links are not needed. So I guess I feel a bit duped by getting reeled in by free software and then telling me it’s of no use if I just pay Neil money for a “data feed to blog post” WordPress plug-in. If I take a step back, RLF is a geniusly awesome tool. But I would avoid cross promoting the contradictory 10 day cash secret.

  69. Neil_Shearing Says:

Err, have you considered using Real Link Finder to promote the sites you build with “10 Day Cash Secret” for a double-whammy? :-)

And if you don’t buy “10 Day Cash Secret”, you’re saying Real Link Finder is useless? I beg to disagree with that viewpoint.

    Neil.

  70. John Leir Says:

Clicked on the link to get the unlock key - nothing happened!

Tried again with a different e-mail address - same story

Bought the program 10 day Cash Secrets - no confirmation from WorldPay - can’t log into support as no invoice number or transaction No: - this never happens on my Sites but then I have been in business for 8 years.

Somebody is not doing their work properly and might just get back to me as this could be the first of many negative posts, not good for business.

  71. M.Saxon Says:

Tried out the new real link finder. Seems like a really great tool. I have searched many different terms but have not found too much in the category of my website. (automotive)

I have lots of toys to choose from so the kids will get some good healthy exercise without even thinkong about it.

  77. Jewels Says:

It’s no use to Macintosh users. You should make the system requirements clear so we know it’s PC-only instead of downloading something we can’t use.

  81. Bonnie Says:

When I tried your software it worked very poorly! It didn’t pull up anything in several searches and then it pulled things that weren’t relevant. I deleted it from my PC the same day I downloaded it. Not worth the trouble

  82. Ozzicol Says:

Neil, Firstly its refreshing to recieve software free or not that has such a great how to video with it. Your explaination in just a few minutes made it easy and understandable. The software itself is easy to use and when dealing in niche markets it save a great deal of time searching for associated material. If you are genuine about your blog or site this tool offers another great way of promoting. Well done and thanks.

Still in the uphill side of the learning curve on 10DayCashSecrets and haven’t actually had time to intensively pursue RLF yet, but I’ve tested it using your recommended initial settings, and found only a few sites in the niche I tested. Bad keyword selection I expect…LongTail terms, perhaps a tad too exclusive

    Fun though

    I’ll keep you posted Neil.

  85. Paul Noble Says:

  86. Référencement Says:

I really don’t get it. I haven’t tried it yet because one question is in my mind, why is this software free. The first possibility is that it does more than what it says, for example sending http requests and gathering info. The second possibility is that it’s packed with adwares. and the third possibility is that it’s just free :-) I’m really paranoid. I know :-)

  87. Neil_Shearing Says:

Thanks a lot for this really userfriendly and convenient to use way to submit comments to many sites quickly.

I am enjoying it and hope to improve my revenues.

  92. ComputerDoc Says:

This latest version is very good.

Even though the keyword that I am searching for (computer help) often brings up pages that are years old, when I go to the top of many of the blogs they are up to date and high quality.

The most recent version works very well and brings up a lot of useful blogs.

One thing that I think could be improved is the small blog preview window. You can use the fill function there but navigating the page is cumbersome.

All in all, this looks to be a very capable tool for finding blogs that can provide useful links.

  93. Deb Says:

    Hi Neil

It’s really nice tool, and I wonder that it is collecting links from all the web, great job, I also show your video.

    good luck

    Deb

  94. SteveJ Says:

    Hi,

The program jumps into the Net Framwork debugger about 10 times when I try to open a link. This happens when I open the link inside the program, and when I open it in a browser.

After I exit the debuggers it seems to work ok.

    Steve

  95. Chuck Says:

  96. Want to know the value of all these new back links? CLCIK HERE! Complete link tracking and organization all in one place! Says:

    Hi Neil,
Thank you so much for this program! I just downloaded it from an email sent by Paul Smithinson, and even though I haven’t used it yet, I KNOW I am going to love it. I am so glad that you changed the ability to find blogs that have the nofollow tag as well. I have just recently started using (And Selling - Check my site-only $37.00) software that tracks all of my links, and I have found that I can get a couple hundred clicks from good blogs, if I leave a GOOD RELEVANT POST that adds to the value of the blog. I think this is the most important part. If you help people, it comes back to you. Tracking my links has saved me a lot of time, and money as well. Which brings me to my questions. I may not like the answers :-}.

I submitted a support ticket, but I can imagine there are a lot of newbies here that need to know this as well.

1st) I have learned that using the correct keywords in back links is very important. When you are leaving a comment on a blog that only allows your name, and no links in a post, do the search engines crawl the link or the text (your name)? Does it actually do more harm than good if they are crawling the name since it has nothing to do with the content on your site? Also what is the code you would use in a blog to use your keywords for the link, if you are aloud to put links in a post? html or forum code?

2nd) As I said above, I use link tracking software, and although you can use this with the same URL, I have mine all set up on a seperate URL which redirects traffic to my site. Will using a redirect like this spoil my efforts with back links? In other words would I get back links in the search Engines view to my real URL or the one I am using to redirect my links?

Again, thanks so much for the gift. I can’t wait to put it to use!
    Leah

  97. Ernie Shown Says:

Thanks for the software–I hope it will help my website become even better!

  98. Lin Ennis Says:

Not working for me. The old version worked. I was looking forward to the new one, but kept entering keywords with zero results — even with ‘no follow’ turned off. Even the word ‘mortgage’ pulled up nothing with as few as 1 blog checked.

    Any ideas?

  99. Alan Kirke Says:

Hi Huys did not have much luck with the key words Paint protection…
Am sure the software is great for other topics

  100. ComputerDoc Says:

I’ve tried other blog finding software and yours is far superior.

I quickly found a number of useful blogs.

    2 suggestions;

Allow for expansion of the blog window or transfer to a full size window with my details filled in.

Check for the date of the last blog entry. If the last blog entry was more than 6 months ago the blog is basically worthless.

  101. Elisabeth Says:

    Hi Neil,
After watching your movies, I was really excited and downloaded it in anticipation of lots of link love and THEN discovered it’s a PC program :( and I have a Mac.

    Should have known… Sigh.

Any chance for a Mac version one of those days? Or maybe something web-based?
    That would be really cool.

    Thanks!

    Elisabeth

  102. robert Says:

I’m getting zero results from my search. I’ll put in a simple keyword such as “money”, put comments as 1, blogs to search as 100 then hit find.

The program will search for a few seconds then stop with no results at all.
I’m using windows .net 2.0 and there are no firewall problems.

This is a great program so i’m getting very frustrated. Does anyone know what I’m doing wrong?

    Cheers

  103. Kerry Says:

The first version didn’t run for me for some (undiscovered reason). Version 2 installed and ran immediately - found relevant blogs - cool tool thanks Neil.

  104. Jay Says:

Thanks for the great tool Neil. Your programs rock and you always get more value that what we spend. No, that doesn’t mean raise prices!

  105. Creig Coogan Says:

Never could unlock the new product, and never could unlock the old one. I am told I need to go in as administartor. Since I am the administrator, no separate login ever created, and I get administrative privileges to every program, app, process and service that any administrator would get. Not good enough for Real Link Finder. So I have no way to use your product.

This has never been an issue with any other program or app, ever.

Perhaps the resolution of this issue could have come before the release of the product…

  106. Vince Says:

    Hi Neil

I have use you trick in ‘10daycashsecret’ and I have just implemented it in the website above. Very impress by the method.

But when I want to try out your free link finder software, I having this problem in logging in ‘ wrong login key’ :(

Hope anyone or Neil can help on this problem.

    Cheers

  107. Neil_Shearing Says:

    @ Vince and Creig,

It’s usually a problem with which operating system you’re using. RLF doesn’t seem to like the “pro” version of Windows.

Great tool Neil! I find it interesting how many people seem skeptical that someone would put out a totally free tool. Some people have a very hard time understanding how much real honest ethos can do for you in this industry and how much a free tool like this can do for your perceived ethos.

  113. Nigel Says:

Thanks for making this so easy! Using this I’ve found links to sites I would never have found by myself.

I have a niche site with a small area of keywords and this software has helped me gain web recognition much more easily than just using my own efforts!

    Thanks again

  114. David Porter Says:

Thanks very much for what looks like a very useful tool. For some reason, though, when I compose and submit a blog comment in the software’s “View a blog” window, my comment doesn’t turn up on the site. Any ideas?

    Best,
    David

ps I’d second the suggestion that a Page Rank indicator for suggested blogs would be a great addition!

    Thanks Neil,

This has got to be one of the most useful tools I have seen in a while. I’m pretty heavy into SEO and offer many free Internet Marketing tools on one of my other sites. I’m going to test this one out and send you an e-mail directly for the rebranding so I can add this tool as well to my link building section. Thanks again.

  121. English to Dutch Translation Says:

So far the only blogs I got with this program turned out to be nofollow anyway. Any tips?

  122. Celebrities Says:

might be a silly question - does the software find blogs that are not subject to moderation/pre-approval?

  123. Steve Laurvick Says:

I would love to have the Real Link finder rebranded for an internet marketing blog I am building at www.what-to-sell-online.com.

I have branded my company with AskAme and would like to use that moniker on the rebrand if its ok.

I’ve just mastered FTP and Wordpress blog creation and am excited about the 10 Day Secret program as well.

  125. Lottery Says:

Thanks for allowing us to use this great tool, only just started and love how it does all the blog searching for you, as well as filling in the fields, would definately recommend it to anyone else reading this post.

  126. Fearless Dreams Says:

Great work. Thanks for making this available.

I have a couple of suggestions that would make it even more valuable.

    1) Provide an option to search by date range of post.
Some old posts will have comments closed.
Only the most recent posts will still have the community looking at them. By commenting on the newest posts we can get links AND reputation among other people interested in the niche.

    2) Provide an option to enter the number of comments, rather than picking among the fixed set of 1,2,3…

    3) Provide an option so that we can ask the program to search for blogs with a number of comments >= the number picked (5 or more, for example). From my brief review of your app so far, it seems that when we enter 5, it’s exactly 5 and not 6. If you provide this option, then display the number of comments in a column next to the post listing.

    4) Display the date of the post next to the post. (You’d need to use a grid control instead of a list box). Depending on the permalink structure, some blog posts have a date in them, but many will not.

    5) Add the ability to sort the results alphabetically, and by post date.

  127. Hebrink Says:

I just downloaded your awesome tool, thanks.

  128. E Lottery Says:

Enjoying using this tool, so much better blogging when you don’t have to keep filling in the name/email/website fields before posting.

Let me know if you come up with any other great free tools of similar quality.

  129. Steve Wilkinson Says:

I’ve just dowloaded Real Link Finder and followed the Quick start tips. It looks very promising.

  130. Small Business SEO Says:

Great product. I use it everyday. Thanks.

  131. Linda Says:

I was really looking forward to getting some use out of this software, but so far haven’t received any results. I increased the number of blogs to 100 and decreased comments to 1. I’m using simple keywords like “writing” and “children”. You would think something would come through. Please give me an example of a keyword that brings up some results for you, so I can see if it is ever going to work right for me.

  132. Jim Says:

It is not working for us. We used varied keywords like golf and student loans and found that almost all the blogs were not related to our keywords. In addition the blogs that were keyword significant were as old as 2004.

It is better than most anything else but it could be much better with time sensitive blogs and a better job of matching keywords to the blog.

  133. Neil_Shearing Says:

    Hi Jim,

How can the software not return blogs related to the keywords you type in? The keywords were in the blogs returned by the software, right?

I don’t see how we can engineer time-sensitivity into the application and still find relevant, on-topic blogs that don’t use nofollow. You’d struggle to find any results.

    Neil.

  134. Eddy Says:

    Hi,

Although it is a great free tool, the feedback/suggestions on a given keyword are too general. The value of linking is finding those sites and bloqs which are related to the subject of your site. unfortunately the tool given provinding a too general feedback to allowing the increase of value of the links found/

    Eddy.

  135. Mike Says:

Signed up but never got the “key” email.

  136. Brigitta Vetter Says:

    Hi Neil,

actually I think your LinkFinder little SW really cool but it does not seem to work on my computer- could it be due to using VISTA?
I’ve started the program several times, when I get to the stage of looking at the 2nd blog the SW has found, Windows starts the debugger and nothing is going for some minutes, I just have to close LinkFinder and all is well again.
I just downloaded last week, so I think I have the latest version.

  137. Free SEO Tips Says:

Note: Vista users - you may want to change the install directory to anything other than the default “Program Files” (ex: I made a folder “Programs”) and for some reason most programs written for XP will work! This may help with your seo - blog link finder program customers.

    Neil,
    cool program!
please email me about a joint venture.
    Thanks
