New Version Of Real Link Finder Is Ready!

Just when you thought it couldn’t get any better! ;-)

With 7,000+ downloads in just over two weeks since launch we got a lot of feedback including almost 300 blog comments at the blog post where I announced the giveaway! We’ve listened closely to that feedback and improved the Real Link Finder and guess what…?

… even the new, improved version is FREE! :-)

Here’s a sneak peek of what’s waiting for you in the improved version…

The ability to keep searching and get more results for your keywords using the “next” button.
The ability to turn off the “nofollow” searching and find blogs that use nofollow.
The keyword(s) you searched for are now highlighted in the preview pane.
The unlock key is now saved to the registry, not to a file, which should help people who had problems installing the previous version.

To get the new version, just visit the download page for Real Link Finder and download the file as you did before.

To install the new version, just uninstall the old version using the “Add/Remove Programs” in your “Control Panel”, then install the new version by extracting it from the zip file, double clicking on “RLF_Setup.exe” and follow the installation process as you did before.

Note, the software will ask for your unlock key, so please make sure you have it ready, or get it emailed to you using our reminder page.

Please leave your comments about the software, or any feedback you’d like to share, below…

    Hi Neil, great product!

Wish there was some sort of affiliate program,(you know, OTO) I want to add your software to a product I am making, which is full of great, free resources!!

    Anywho, just a suggestion!!

    All the best.

  2. I can rebrand it for you, April, but there isn’t a OTO because I wanted it to be 100% free. With a OTO I’d get emails from people who misunderstand the OTO as something they’d have to buy… believe me, it would happen. :)

    Neil.

  3. Real Link Finder was a great find.

    Thanks!

  4. Latha says:

    Hello Neil,

Thank you very very much for the software.
I am loving it. It is so easy to use, easy to install and
works like a charm. I just installed it and used it. Was very sceptical and
thought it wouldnt work, but I got great blogs, which I would have never ever found.
Apart from leaving a comment on these blogs, I was amazed at the content I found on these blogs.
I might actually forget my purpose and of leaving comments and just keep reading their posts. It is so addictive.
Thank you, thank you thank you from India.
Hope to meet you some day.

    Regards

    Latha

  5. Nice work Neil. I use Real Link often and it’s an excellent piece of software.

  6. Neil,

Thanks soooo much for this great little piece of software! I had added the backlink process to my daily routine, but was doing so manually (searching for related blogs through Google, checking PR, posting and bookmarking). The problem was that it was very time-consuming, I had no way of knowing whether or not they used the “nofollow” attribute, and I still wasn’t seeing much traffic, let alone sales (which leads me to believe that most of them probably did use it).

Now it’s a match made in heaven! Your software has greatly streamlined my process, allowing me to post 5 to 10 comments a day in just about 15 or 20 minutes, I’m seeing a steady increase in traffic, and sales for my EDC Gold & Diamond businesses are skyrocketing!

Thanks so much for this great tool! I look forward to more success with this tool, and perhaps even a future version for forums (I’d be willing to pay for that)! Thank you for helping my business to become even more successful!

  7. Lawyer SEO says:

Great little piece of software. It’s the perfect type of SEO Tool, semi-automated. It assists in the commenting process, but you still have to make a quality comment to be effective. This also extends the life of this tool. If it was too automated, it would get abused, and that would render it eventually useless.

Thanks for the hard work and great product!!

  8. adapter says:

There are actually a few different ones out there. I have been giving this software a go and see how it pans out.

You have a great site and i return to it ever now and then as i find the time.

  9. Harry Bettison says:

    Hi Neil,
I use a Mac. will any of your software work on it?
    cheers,
    Harry

  10. Thank you for this Neil.

I’ve tried a few different options in the past and I’m looking forward to giving RLF a go.

  11. thanks again Neil for an awesome and yet very helpful post here…; )

  12. sabul says:

    i’ve tested it and wow…awesome results ;)

  13. Sean Mize says:

  14. Candice says:

I also get NOT A VALID WIN32 APPLICATION on the normal and Win2000 downloads :(

  15. Candice says:

Whilst I am very sad that Neil doesn’t seem to care about his non-working EXE file, **I did find a way around it**

Download the RealLinkFinder.zip file to extract the rlf_setup.exe file. Once extracted, right click it, choose WinZip -> Open with WinZip (on the actual file you just extracted).

The rlf_setup.exe file will be opened in WinZip and it will automagically detect and access the rlf_setup.exe installation payload. You can extract its 2 files, “setup.exe” and “setup.msi”, out of the non-working EXE – and then run the setup manually.

I hope that helps some people!

  16. Thanks for the tip, Candice.

    Neil.

  17. Kristi says:

Ive left suggestions on this blog before. But now I have a few more. I still think RLF is one of the best FREE programs out there but after having people suggest other ones to me as well, I figured there was a few really nice things missing from RLF that I personally wish were options!

I tried Comment Kahuna. I dont like it because you HAVE to leave the same comment on every blog (well u can change it but the point of this is quickness and easiness!). I also like the fact the RLF has a PREVIEW option of the blogs your posting on, comment kahuna does not. What Kahuna has that i really REALLY liked was two options.

1- it allowed you to search for certain blogs with PR. You could do a keyword search for ALL blogs/sites with a PR of 1-9.

2- it had a search option. If you would like the search to be from all wordpress blogs, or blogger blogs, it allowed you to search for that. Im thinking this is something a lot of people would like because Im seeing a lot of article an d submission sites with people asking for this option in particular when hiring someone to do backlinks.

There was another one called Fast Blog Finder, or something along the lines of that, but to get the whole package, its NOT free. I want free!

Im still using my copy of RLF, and it still is #1 in my eyes. Thanks

    Kristi

  18. ComputerDoc says:

This programs is very good and is better than the other free program that is out there since it filters for dofollow up front.

However, there are 2 things that could improve it a lot.

    1. Allow for filtering on date of blog entry. If the blog entry that matches your keyword is more than a few months old, it is pretty much useless.

    2. Allow for specification of the language. I received responses for blogs in Danish.

    Keep up the great work.

  19. Zoomica says:

As of now im not using this software but i am very interesting on this software where i can get my copy as of now i am using the comment kahuna and Gblog finder. Thanks in advance

    Regards to all.

  20. JBO says:

I think this is a good bit of software but am I correct in seeing that it is limited to searching 100 blogs or am I missing something? I’m struggling to find anything on my keywords?

  21. FX says:

I think this is great but also an addition to be listed by pagerank would be great – whilst pagerank doesn’t count for a lot, generally if a page does have some kind of page rank then it can mean its been around for a while or here to stay/

  22. Kevin says:

Nice piece of software. For those that don’t know, you can double click the listings of blogs (that you find) to open in a browser window instead of using the small window at the bottom of the screen within the software application.

  23. Juergen says:

thank you for sharing this great software. already found new blogs in my niche where I left some comments. also a big thank you for the great tips and hints from all previous readers and responders here.

  24. Amy Samida says:

So this is only for windows? I just switched from a pc to a mac, so forgive me if I’m just a little slow.

  25. Free Proxy says:

Doesnt really work for me. I only get like 3 results and they aren’t even for my keyword and they are also really old. The keyword I used was proxy.

  26. OMGriffin says:

Neal, this is a great tool. Can I make a feature request? Make it so this thing will fill out the blog comment with my thoughts :)

  27. bro, if it doesn’t work, check your firewall and your internet connection…the problem might be there

  28. Nice software! Any chance of a Mac version?

  29. Why do you give this kind of software for FREE? I am sure that people can pay for this kind of software. Thanks.

  30. Astrologie says:

    Very nice software !

  31. xsitepro says:

I like this software. Thank you.

  32. RLM says:

I like your software – thank you. I am very suprised that it picks up so few blogs. I entered the word “real estate” with 5 comments and it only came back with 14 results. There should have been hundreds – if not thousands. The world wide web is a huge place.

  33. Payday UK says:

Thanks for this easy to use tool. I have benefitted greatly from not having to manually search for blogs!

  34. Thanks you for providing this for free!

  35. cant install.error,, not a win32app

  36. Darell says:

I seem to always be a little slow implementing various ideas. This usually lets me try out and see if a product or idea works before suggesting it to someone else. In the case of your RealLinkFinder; I should have jumped on it much earlier and I wouldn’t be almost 200 comments down.

Your free product does what it says, and should be a good resource for anyone wanting to improve SEO and increase traffic to their site. I would like to re-brand and give RealLinkFinder to my membership; if you think it worthwhile.

  37. I haven’t checked this tool out yet, but I will be for sure. Any new tool that can help with the SEO and link-building process is worth while to me.

  38. Jerry says:

Hi Neil, This is the only way I can contact you, so I hope you read this before it’s posted.
You’re right about all the promises from marketers……most give nothing but are good at taking your money.
I don’t know exactly how I came into contact but you seem genuine (one of the very few).
I want to put my business online but also make money in other area’s hence me looking at what you have to offer. I’m putting stuff together for my business website and also other websites. It’s the usual story ‘stuck in a colander and don’t know what hole to come out of first’!
Am I being naive posting here?!?

  39. Great to providing this free tools here. Thanks Neil.

    regards, Chris Stevens

  40. Hi Jerry,

I’m not sure what you’re looking for. It’s probably best to open a support ticket to contact me, rather than commenting here. :)

    Neil.

  41. Can’t wait to try this software out :)

  42. I have been using the program and it was working very well. Recently I encountered a number of problems.

Firstly, some of the blogs that came up were nofollow even though I selected dofollow only.

Now, it doesn’t provide any results at all.

    What could be the problem?

  43. John Chow says:

    Very nice tool, thank you.

  44. Steve says:

Thanks. I type a pile of comments on your tool, then get the fuzzy security code wrong and the comments are deleted.

    That really is a pain.

Anyway. Here’s a shorter version of my previous attempt.

Once you have searched for blogs there is no need to keep the search options in the window. The browser is too small for comfort. You should be able to extend the bottom section of the window to be able to see the blog properly.

If you find a url you like there doesn’t seem to be any way to easily open it in your own browser rather than your tool. That would be a nice feature.

  45. Steve,

1: Did you maximize the Real Link Finder application? That should give you plenty of room.

2: You can double click any result returned by Real Link Finder to open it in a brower window.

    Neil.

  46. C. Laeuse says:

Newer version is much better and improved:)

  47. Denise says:

Does nt work right. I tried to find a dofolllowed blog and it came out with a no follow. There is a script error as well.

  48. Steve says:

Thanks. I’ve found the double click trick just after I wrote the post.

  49. Earth Focus says:

I’ve used the older version of link finder and it worked fairly well. How does the newer version differ from the older?

  50. Link finder is a great program. I’ve used the older one to help find relevant backlinks.
