Best Of The Web (BOTW) are increasing their prices on December 1st, and they recommend you lock in the current price for directory submissions before they increase.
Most of you won’t remember the time when submitting to the Yahoo Directory was free. It seems like a million years ago, but there was a time before their $299 annual fee when Yahoo cost nothing to submit to. If you have one of those “grandfathered” listings, it’s still free!
BOTW say that if you get a listing in their directory now, your renewal pricing will be grandfathered too… so if you’re considering submitting a few domains, now is the time.

On December 1st, we will be implementing a price increase on new submissions to the BOTW Directory and BOTW Local. We attribute this not only to the higher value of our products, but also to the growing operational costs and resources needed for running such a high-growth and high traffic web portal.
Rest assured that our new rates will NOT be applied towards existing listings. All monthly and yearly fees remain grandfathered at their original submission rates. So if you have a website or business you are looking to promote, now is the time to submit to BOTW and lock in your rates!
