Dave And Heidi Perry’s Sale…

Saturday, May 17th, 2008

Dave And Heidi Perry at Home Business Online are having a sale to celebrate reaching PR5.

They say it’s hard to reach PR5 nowadays. Tell me about it. This blog has been stuck at PR4 forever, and I’m starting to think I may have to actually promote it to get to PR5! :p

Congratulations to Dave and Heidi, whose names I recognise as “old school” marketers… although I’m not totally sure why… perhaps they bought ads in my old newsletter or are members of my affiliate program.

So, the deal with their sale is… if you buy one or more of the product they’re selling (from as little as $5) you also get two nice backlinks.

Cool. I just picked up a couple of products and have claimed my links. :-)

SitePro News Promotes Real Link Finder

Monday, March 3rd, 2008

This was a nice surprise this morning…

“Neil Shearing’s “RealLinkFinder” is a handy little link-building tool you can use to increase your link popularity and SE rankings.

It lets you find targeted blogs that don’t have the “nofollow” attribute tag so your links will count in all the search engines. Great way to build targeted links related to your site’s main keywords or keyword phrases. This is one “No Cost” link-building tool you should try.

From SitePro News, “The nets most widely read webmaster news source”.

… and that promotion took us to over 10,000 downloads since the launch less than a month ago! :-)

New Version Of Real Link Finder Is Ready!

Tuesday, February 26th, 2008

Just when you thought it couldn’t get any better! ;-)

With 7,000+ downloads in just over two weeks since launch we got a lot of feedback including almost 300 blog comments at the blog post where I announced the giveaway! We’ve listened closely to that feedback and improved the Real Link Finder and guess what…?

… even the new, improved version is FREE! :-)

Here’s a sneak peek of what’s waiting for you in the improved version…

The ability to keep searching and get more results for your keywords using the “next” button.
The ability to turn off the “nofollow” searching and find blogs that use nofollow.
The keyword(s) you searched for are now highlighted in the preview pane.
The unlock key is now saved to the registry, not to a file, which should help people who had problems installing the previous version.

To get the new version, just visit the download page for Real Link Finder and download the file as you did before.

To install the new version, just uninstall the old version using the “Add/Remove Programs” in your “Control Panel”, then install the new version by extracting it from the zip file, double clicking on “RLF_Setup.exe” and follow the installation process as you did before.

Note, the software will ask for your unlock key, so please make sure you have it ready, or get it emailed to you using our reminder page.

Please leave your comments about the software, or any feedback you’d like to share, below…

Real Link Finder Builds Massive Momentum

Tuesday, February 12th, 2008

I was delighted to see this quote on Martin Avis’ blog

“You happen to be one of the few Internet Marketers I really trust, and after reading today’s Kickstart you have come up with another little gem. I have already installed and am using Free Link Finder, and it’s a fabulous tool. Thank you for that.”

I’m hoping the guy is actually referring to “Real Link Finder“, or I’ll have egg on my face. :-)

So far there have been mentions from Martin Avis, William Charlwood and Dr Andy Williams as well as several branding requests and lots of positive feedback from happy users of the software.

It’s great to see the positive buzz about the giveaway, and I’m honored to be in the middle of it. We are fast approaching 1,000 downloads since Sunday!

What makes me even happier is that Paul Smithson, creator of XSitePro and a man who knows more about developing software than I ever will just wrote and said…

“For anyone wanting to create a genuine, high quality, inbound long term link strategy it’s something they should definitely have in their arsenal. I loved the fact that it wasn’t a tool designed to spam appropriate blogs, but was designed to make it easier to make genuine and relevant posts that benefit everyone. Excellent!”

Grab My Free Blog Commenting Tool… Real Link Finder

Sunday, February 10th, 2008

I’m really excited to announce the launch of my “Real Link Finder” software.

It finds “on topic” blog posts where you can make comments and leave “Real” links back to your website… links that counts for link popularity and PageRank.

The reason I call it “Next Generation” is that the software only returns blog posts that already have comments but don’t use “nofollow”.

(”Nofollow” means that any links you leave in comments at the blog won’t pass PageRank. By searching for blog posts that already have comments, and then throwing out the ones that use “nofollow”, Real Link Finder gives you cleaner results than other blog commenting software)

More links = Better search engine rankings = More traffic for you!

And the best part? It’s 100% free. No strings. No painful signup process.
